Role Overview – Resident Engineer | Project Manager (Site-Based)

We are seeking an experienced and technically strong Resident Engineer to lead site-based project delivery and oversee multidisciplinary construction activities.

In this role, you will act as the primary technical authority on-site, ensuring successful execution of works in alignment with approved designs, contractual requirements, quality standards, and project timelines.

You will coordinate between consultants, contractors, and stakeholders while driving proactive problem-solving and project control.

Main Responsibilities – Site Leadership & Technical Oversight

• Lead and supervise overall site activities to ensure compliance with project drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.

• Coordinate structural, architectural, and MEP works to ensure integrated and efficient project delivery.

• Monitor construction progress, quality performance, and project milestones.

• Review and approve technical submittals, shop drawings, and method statements.

• Conduct regular site inspections and issue technical instructions when required.

• Manage contractor performance, resolve technical challenges, and mitigate project risks.

• Prepare progress reports and present project updates to stakeholders and project management teams.

• Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and quality control procedures.

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to site supervision engineers.

What You Bring – Qualifications & Leadership Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil / Structural / Architectural Engineering or related field.

• Strong experience in managing large-scale or complex construction projects.

• Solid understanding of contracts, construction methodology, and site coordination.

• Ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and contractors effectively.

• Strong decision-making skills and problem-solving capability.

• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

• Familiarity with international standards and construction regulations is preferred.
